Playtech and AMC Networks Announce Multi-Game Collaboration
Playtech acquires worldwide exclusive rights to AMC’s The Walking Dead and WE tv’s Bride Wars and Marriage Boot Camp

Playtech, the world’s leading gambling technology company, and AMC Networks have announced a new partnership. Playtech will acquire worldwide exclusive rights to AMC and WE tv branded series, including AMC’s The Walking Dead series and WE tv’s Bride Wars and Marriage Boot Camp series, to create and distribute online gambling experiences based on the popular shows. These experiences are expected to be released in digital casinos later this year and in 2022.

This unique agreement marks a significant step in supporting Playtech’s brand content strategy; providing the highest quality entertainment-led content for online gambling operators in regulated markets.

The Walking Dead television series, produced by AMC Studios, is a global phenomenon that has enjoyed over a decade of unparalleled ratings, boasting millions of fans worldwide and is the highest-rated television series in US cable history. The series’ 24-episode final season begins on Sunday, August 22.
