Amuleto Sports Betting has become a backer of Goiás Esporte Clube, a Brazilian top-flight football squad. The deal will see Amuleto Sports Betting’s logo displayed on the team’s playing outfits and practice jerseys, and will encompass physical and digital promotions, regular posts on the club’s official social media channels, banners on the club’s website, and more.

“We are thrilled to announce our collaboration with Goiás Esporte Clube,” stated Thomas Cavalcante, Amuleto Sports Betting’s Director for Brazil and Latin America. “This is a team that has been performing well in the competition and will assist us in reaching our objective of becoming a leading sports betting firm in Brazil. We aim to bring good fortune to the club.”

Adson Batista, President of Goiás Esporte Clube, added: “The arrival of a new significant sponsor is a noteworthy moment for Goiás Esporte Clube. We are very cautious in selecting our partners and chose Amuleto Sports Betting because it is a reputable and accountable company with substantial potential for growth in the Brazilian market.”

The brand partnership premiered yesterday (July 18) during Goiás Esporte Clube’s game against São Paulo Palmeiras, which was televised on Globo, the largest commercial television network in Latin America.

This agreement marks Goianiense as the most recent Brazilian team to secure a sponsorship arrangement with a sports betting or gaming company.

In February, Fluminense Football Club, based in Rio de Janeiro, inked a sponsorship agreement with online operator Betmotion. This deal featured the brand’s logo on the club’s jerseys until January 2022.

Subsequently, Betano, an online brand under OPAP, became Fluminense’s primary sponsor in June, following a similar agreement the operator had established with Atlético Mineiro in January.

Betmotion secured another annual deal with Athletico Paranaense in June. Earlier this month, Sportsbet.io, owned by Coingaming Group, became São Paulo FC’s main sponsor until the end of 2024, marking the club’s most significant sponsorship agreement ever.
