A UK-based online gambling newcomer, Affili8, has undergone a name change to iGaming Agency (iGA). This alteration, unfortunately, results in sharing the same initials as the existing Indian Gaming Association (IGA).

iGA is already positioned to exceed its second-year income objective of £500,000 ($604,000) after securing agreements with various businesses within the sector.

Established in 2020 in Stockton-on-Tees by Chris O’Rourke, Richard Paget, and Chris Sutherland, the freshly rebranded iGA has signed numerous agreements recently, offering clients SEO, paid search engine optimization, social media promotion, affiliate marketing, and content creation services.

Commenting on iGA’s rebranding and achievements, company originator Chris O’Rourke stated: “Our primary aim was to develop an affiliate network within the gaming sector, promoting casinos and sports betting platforms, but market dynamics led us to attract a significant amount of consulting work.

O’Rourke continued: “As we began pursuing this path, being known as Affili8 caused confusion for prospective clients as they didn’t perceive us as offering SEO marketing and other services.

iGaming Agency, as a business title, is a ‘self-explanatory’ brand name that clearly conveys our core area of proficiency. We are currently operating in 16 nations and are pleased with the returns our dedication and hard work have generated in such a short period.”

This British fledgling company believes a rebrand was necessary, but whether renaming themselves “iGaming Agency” will make them distinctive or simply generate more uncertainty… well, that remains to be seen.
